We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mendix Developer to join one of our clients in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing, designing and implementing Mendix applications utilizing best practices to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. A deep understanding of the Mendix platform, including its methodologies and tools is essential. The successful individual will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Additionally expertise in software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and integration with third-party systems will be vital to succeed in this role. If you are passionate about leveraging low-code technology to drive innovation and enhance user experiences Design, develop, and maintain scalable Mendix applications to meet business requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment within Mendix Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to ensure code quality Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability Stay updated on Mendix platform changes, features, and industry trends to enhance application capabilities Mentor and support team members in developing their Mendix skills and knowledge Document technical specifications, configurations, and changes in Mendix applications Engage with stakeholders to prioritize and manage project timelines effectively Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and agile methodologies Create and maintain integration solutions with other enterprise systems and databases Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in application development Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in user training as needed Assist with project estimations and resource planning as part of project initiation activities
