Production engineer

Job description We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Production Engineer in Bahrain. Our client is a reputed organization in the Rebar / Steel Manufacturing sector seeking skilled, motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below, apply early as positions are limited. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day rebar cut and bend production activities to achieve production targets. Plan and coordinate cutting, bending, scheduling, and processing of reinforcement steel. Monitor rebar processing machinery and ensure efficient equipment utilization. Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of cut-and-bend production equipment. Troubleshoot production and machinery issues to minimize downtime. Monitor product quality, dimensions, bending accuracy, and production output. Maintain production and maintenance records and report operational performance. Ensure safe working practices and adherence to applicable production procedures. Required Skills Rebar Cut & Bend Production: Strong practical knowledge of reinforcement steel cutting and bending operations. Production Management: Ability to plan and control shop-floor production activities. Equipment Maintenance: Hands-on understanding of production machinery maintenance. Troubleshooting: Ability to identify production and equipment problems and implement corrective actions. Quality Control: Knowledge of maintaining dimensional and processing accuracy in rebar production. Preferred Skills Preventive maintenance planning Production reporting and process optimization Knowledge of reinforcement steel fabrication workflows Work Experience Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in the rebar cut & bend production and maintenance field. Candidates should have practical exposure to both production operations and maintenance activities within a rebar processing environment. Education Minimum: Typical qualification — Diploma/B. E./B.
